Each
suite has an adjoining verandah overlooking the forest,
where one can enjoy a quiet cup of tea and take in the
tranquil jungle mornings. The slanting tiled roof
recreated using local stone is best suited for heavy
rainfall and to keep the room temperatures low. Large
windows provide ample natural light in each room and an
unobstructed view of the forest around.

The
Air-conditioned suites offer an atmosphere of comfort
and calm and are tastefully decorated. Keeping in mind
the erratic power situation we have installed a fully
backup generating unit. This ensures 24 hours hot and
cold running water as well as operating other essential
equipment.
Maintained within the property are sacred Mahua trees
that have been worshipped by the tribal for generations.
To retain the sanctity of these trees, we have built
“Chabutras” (platforms) around each tree and guests can
spend a few meditative moments here.
In the main dining room guests can enjoy delectable
cuisine including fresh river fish and villages
poultry. We are proud to be offering organic
vegetable, wheat and milk, the farm fresh vegetables
are grown in the nearby villages.
The
kitchen is equipped with all modern equipment including Tandoor for mouthwatering bar-be-cues. A “Machan” created on the roof is an ideal setting for guests to enjoy the spectacular view of the surrounding forests
while having a drink.
The well stocked library offers a variety of reference books
and reading material. And in case of emergencies, modern
medical facilities are available at the nearby towns of
Baihar and Malachkhand. |
