CORBETT
NATIONAL PARK
:-

It is located in Uttaranchal & famous more for its tigers and elephants. Corbett  provide great birding too, with over 400 species being recorded. The majestic sal forests, the chaurs, the Ramganga river and the reservoir provide a wide range of habitats due to which has a rich wildlife heritage.

           

HOW TO REACH: -
Corbett national park is about 260 km. from elhi Delhi . The nearest airport is PantNagar which is about 110 km from Corbett. You can make the journey by train for this you  have the  nearest railhead- ramnagar which is about 51 km. But the best option to reach Corbett is by road .it is about 260 km. And six hour away from Delhi .

                     

WHERE TO STAY: -
To stay in this beautiful place you have many options , there are government guest houses in Corbett which serves you best and they are light on pocket also . If you are in mood to stay more closer to the nature then there are some lodges also which serves you the same .Some of the lodges are described below :-

BEST PERIOD:-
The best time to visit Corbett is between mid-November and mid-June .Summer is a good time to see mammals, and winter is good for visiting birds. Remember that there are limited seats on the elephant safaris within the park so book a seat when you book your hotel room.

Most riders leave at 7am and 3pm. You’re also provided with a well trained crew of guides who will give you the best knowledge about park.

                     

DO’S AND DONT’S: -
When you are in the park you have to take some precaution’s which are given below.

     1. Avoide   shouting  when   you   are   inside   the park   because   it   may   distract   the   wild   animals.

     2. Always   follow  the  instruction  given  by  the  naturalist  or  guide  &  avoid  doing  unnecessary thing.

     3. Avoide throwing poly bags or wrappers when you are inside the park, always make use of dustbins provided.

     4. Do not try to  give any kind  of food material to the wild animals it may cause danger to you and others.
